What is LUMIERE?
LUMIERE, An Immersive Christmas Experience, is Louisiana’s newest Christmas Light Park, where specialized design and implementation are met with larger-than-life displays. Our unique visual experience will spark festive and magical interactions for all ages to enjoy.
The 32-acre park will host 60,000 people and offer a ½ mile walk through a trail of lights, synthetic snow tubing, an interactive light maze, a local artisan village for crafts and gifts, culinary offerings from local partnerships, and more.

Is parking free?
Yes, parking is first come first served.
Do I have to purchase my tickets online?
No, you can purchase your tickets at the front gate. However, we encourage everyone to purchase your tickets in advance online for general admission tickets. An electronic ticket and an electronically signed waiver are required prior to entering the park.
Are children under the age of 2 free?
Yes. However, a waiver must be signed for each adult and child entering the park.
Are all activities included in the purchase price of admission?
Yes! All public activities are included in the purchase of your admission ticket. Food, beverage, and retail may be purchased for an additional cost.
Do you have handicapped parking available?
Yes, we have a limited amount of handicapped parking near the front entrance.
Do you have restroom facilities?
Yes, the restroom facilities are located near the entrance of the park. Changing stations will be located inside the ADA-Compliant restroom.
Is LUMIERE wheelchair and stroller friendly?
Yes, our walkways are paved asphalt and we have ADA-compliant restrooms available. Some attractions may have limited accessibility.
What should I wear?
As common in Louisiana, the weather can be unpredictable. We encourage you to check the weather prior to your trip to the park. In the event you need something cooler or warmer, we have apparel for sale in the retail store.
Does LUMIERE have a smoking area?
No, smoking and vape devices are strictly prohibited inside the Christmas Park.
Are pets allowed at LUMIERE?
No, unless pets are participating in “Paws and Clause” or classified as service animals, pets are not allowed into the park.
Are Santa pictures free?
Yes, you are welcome to take a picture on your mobile with Santa during the nights when Santa visits LUMIERE.
Is outside food and beverage allowed?
No, outside food and beverages will not be permitted. LUMIERE will offer food and beverage options available for purchase.
Does LUMIERE serve alcoholic beverages?
No, LUMIERE does not serve alcoholic beverages.
Does LUMIERE provide security onsite?
Yes, we have partnered with the Desoto Parish Sheriff’s office which will be present each night of the event.
Do you have a space to rent for private parties?
Yes! We have the ability to host 200 people in a private setting for large groups and corporate events. We have partnered with Silver Star for catering. Contact us via email for more information.
What payment options are available?
We accept cash, card, and contactless forms of payment.
Where can I purchase tickets for the upcoming Christmas season?

Do you offer refunds?
We DO NOT provide refunds unless you purchase event insurance at the time of purchase.
What is your severe inclimate weather policy?
LUMIERE will remain open unless we determine there is severe inclement weather. If we choose to close the park, we will exchange your ticket for a different day of equal value.
Are drugs allowed inside LUMIERE?
LUMIERE is considered a Drug Free zone. Anyone caught with drugs or paraphernalia will be prosecuted to the highest extent of the law and permanently banned from all future events at LUMIERE.
